New blog on the horizon

Merry Christmas to me!  And to all of you!  Among my presents including a few new lenses, I have gifted myself with a new blog.  I promise, it is coming soon.....I am finishing up the final touches and plan to have it up and running for the new year.  As soon as the new blog is up I will post my long overdue session posts!  

Lack of Posts

I havent been able to post any blog entries lately due to being extremely busy...mostly with completing orders and boudoir shoots.  Please note that Eye Sugar Photography will be closed from December 3rd until the 15th.  I will be posting some photos from the last weeks sessions over the holiday weekend.

I met with Gillian today to complete her senior portraits in the 'little' city.  The light was amazing and though cold, the wind was the perfect amount to create wind-swept hair.  Here is a peek from yesterday...

A newbie

I met with baby Nicholas today at his home and he wasnt having the whole 'pose' thing.  So we scrapped the poses and used mom as a prop for a majority of the shots.  Here are a few from the session and a peek at his feet...I love baby feet!

Today was another farm day...the light was gorgeous this morning!  It was a bit cold but *B* showed up with some warm sweaters...I love the way the color of this sweater looks against the barn doors.  Enjoy!

We took the girls today for a mini photoshoot for some family photos and I needed to get a few shots of the tutu dress for the company.  These are so lovely....I am loving the shot of them together...it is definitely going to be on the list of Christmas card choices.  Here is a peek...

On the road again...

I traveled to meet this adorable family yesterday morning...both of these little ones are simply stunning and precious.  We had their session in their beautiful home and I fell in love with their furniture!  Old fashioned furniture pieces make excellent props.  Here is a sneak peek of both of these cutie pies...

A Windy Beach Session

I met with Kelsi yesterday at the beach...it was so windy and cold (beach sessions are ending soon!).  Kelsi has an amazing personality...she was so funny and a lot of fun.  There are a lot of great smile shots but I am in love with her 'serious' shots.  I tried a new spot yesterday and I was so pleased when I saw that it worked!
